Boy you wasted a lot of money buying a ridge then The only thing the same on the wraith to a ridge is the tires, axles, links and shocks.

I hear ya. Moved everything over but the frame. Even upgraded to aluminum links so they will not even be used. Maybe over time I'll replace the tranny and build the ridge back up as a 2nd truck.

Hey it's a hobby.

That looks like a lot of fun. I kept thinking "oh those poor stock knuckles" knowing that mine barely handle the 20t stock motor (Wraith). Anyway, cool videos and have fun building the Wraith version. You'll have a lot of fun either way.

Ya I've beat the crap out of that thing taking it off of 10 foot jumps even and all the stock knuckles and c-hubs took it like a champ. However, I upgraded a whole lot on this wraith. Waiting to get everything put together b4 I post some pics and vids of her running.

Stay tuned.....

Looking forward to it. "thumbsup"

I did a Wraith with a Velineon for a friend of mine, and the front axles did not last one battery, mind you, this guy doesn't know how to drive! He was trying to do 360's in the parking lot....

just went trailing on the summit last night with a good group 10 rigs or so lots of variety and one was a stock ridgecrest that KILLED IT!! 8) he was running a 12 tooth pinion but i was very impressed. I have a well modded wraith and he was doin some good shit , the only thing that it needed was LIGHTS! wonder why axial didn't hook that up. the rig is defenetly worthy! Have fun with the wraith, its hard not to "thumbsup"

On the front of the Ridgecrest body there are holes to mount lights. Think they have a light kit for it.

Wraith is fun thats for sure.

Wouldnt a stampede vxl be more practical for wanting a 4wd with brushless power as a high flying basher? Or is this conversion just like hey I wanna put a 454 big block chevy with a 6 speed in a civic type of thing? The Pede is not only built for it out the box, but cheaper. I guess i dont get it? I had a VXL Rustler and every single time I put my one and only 25C 2s 5K mah lip battery in it; it resulted in a trip to the LHS for more RPM parts. Bad part about it is I didnt even get to really jump it. Just one telephone pole in a drift, one curb, and about a dozen high speed runs (hits the wheelie bar so hard bends pins holding wheelie bar wheels). The 2nd 2foot jump killed a knuckle resulting in store credit trade in on my new Ridgecrest.
