I notice everyone is painting their blazer shell like a full convertible gen 1 not a rear only gen 2. Vaterra included. I haven't painted mine yet but would prefer to paint it scale and not paint the roof the same color as the shell. Is there any reason everyone is painting this way? Does it not look right painted the other way?

This is one of the few painted "properly" any others?

His is how they seem to usually be painted. It actually presents a rather hard line.

Its down to personal taste i quess. Im going with a paint scheme similar to the first picture, just because i like it better

It's personal preference really. I didn't think it looked right with the whole roof painted. So I only did the rear part.

Front roof color was an optional paint scheme, it just depended on how you wanted it when purchased.

I like either option.

Most of the ones I have seen around me have been painted all one color and I like the flat black look myself.
