Trying to use wraith wheels on everest 10

Dumb question but when using my aluminum wraith wheels the axle threads don't stick out far enough for the teflon nut to fully lock on. The wheel isn't very thick either so I don't want to remove any metal. Any other fasteners that would do the trick? (Using lock tight everytime and crossing my fingers isn't enough)
Thanks.

need diff offset rims or longer cups, i had that prob and ended up using some rs10 cups i had around which were slightly longer nettin you that teflon

look at the outside end of the hexes, there might be a lip there that matches a recessed part of the wheel
inside where the hex seats.
it is this way with the rs10 at least.
have to file down that lip or use hexes without that lip so that the wheel sits in all the way onto the hex.

take a look.

it really helps to have pictures with questions as these to help get good answers quickly
without all the useless advice

Okay I've got some good ideas now. I will look for those barrel nuts that should do it. Thanks everyone.

to use the barrel nuts you might have to open up the center hole in the wheel so the barrel nut can get
to the inner threads. that would be my last course of action. if the wheel is not seating fully on the
hex, you could make matters a bit worse. like wallowing out the hex opening in the wheel.

you are using the stock hexes? not extended ones?

good luck

I noticed that there is a step on the axle shaft that is larger than the hole in some wheels. I drilled that hole out to fit and they went on all the way.

I ended up using a drill press to take some metal off the wheel inserts. The end of the axle is flush with the end of the nut so it's good enough. Wheels didn't come loose after several tumbles yesterday.
