Tx/Rx recommendation

Hey guys I have a boat and two crawlers and I want them all on one remote. I’ve seen the Sanwa Mx6 and dx5 by spectrum. I was just wondering what’s everyone recommendation. I need at least 3 channel but prefer 4-5 if I’m paying the money to upgrade the remote. Also I need to have a waterproof 3 channel servo for marine to be compatible.

I have found all of these things in the dx5 rugged pro but it runs for nearly $300. I was looking to maybe be around 200. But feel free to link Or name anything you feel relevant.

I have a Flysky NB4 and it's got way more than I'll ever need.

I will admit, now that I have it the screen is... A bit much. As compared to my DX5 Rugged.

So far build quality seems decent and haven't had any issues.

Radiolink RC4GS or the RC6GS (my recommendation).
RC6 v2 is the best 500.00 radio that comes in an 80.00 box I've ever owned.
The new V3 is a bit better overall and only a few dollars more.

These radios have great software and setup ability.
The one downside is you won't likely be able to one-hand drive as the wheel is not the best position for one-hand driving unless you have long thumbs. lol
The only other issue is the housing is a bit bulky but comfortable at any rate.

I had v1 and only sold it when I got v2. I'll get v3 and keep v2 as well this time.
Gr8 Radios imo. Ive had Futaba, JR/KoProKo, Spectunk and Nomadio radios and these Radiolinks are every bit as good.
and they are good for boats as the rxs are IP4 waterproof so will take some water without issue.

Radio and one rx is 80 for the rc6 and like 60 for the rc4 radios. receivers are from 13 - 22 for depending on which one you buy, they have a few different styles of compatable rxs available.

Another vote for Radiolink. The RC4 and RC6 are the best radios at their pricepoints, hands down.

If you need extra range, I'd go with the RC6-- the RC4 claims 1,300ft, the RC6 claims 1,600. I've had a FlySky GT5 go out-of-range at about 300ft, but we won't talk about that.

fly sky seems to make nice radios for the budget minded i have the gt3c its great but needs to be hacked to be a anygood at all and its alot of work to hack there also not the most durable radio out there if your not nice to them they dont work vary long
the gt5 seems to be great out of the box ive never used one but would love to pick one up
i have a 10 year old 2 channel fly sky i still use and it works fine
radiolink has been around for along time and are a decent price the 4 chqnnel is about $45 last i checked but the company than manufactures the radiolink radio has there own brand the name is kinda dumb but there decent radios
i picked up several dumborc 6 channel radios for $30-$35 and havent had one issue with them they also have a gyro option thats pretty simple to use it works great on some rigs but sucks on others but hay when it works it works and not needed on a crawler anyway just though i would mention it lol

i used to use futabas but theres no way i can aford one these days lol i still have a bunch of analog radios but the new ones are so much better than the old analog units
like escs these days its hard to find a bad one unless you buy the absolut cheapest radio you can find or traxxasss radio you might have issues

I have a Spektrum DX5 Pro which I thought would be too much radio. But I'm doing more now because the radio has such great functionality. Spektrum doesn't seem to be too popular on this forum and it is a few bucks more, but definitely worth it. And having H-Hobby support ain't too bad either!

the RC6v2 is claiming 1900 ft. And there are quite a few vids that would appear to verify that or really close to that.

Radiolink. i just upgraded to rc6gs v3 due to the on the fly 4ws option. no complaints other than the transmitter has loud branding and is pretty ugly.

It is a bit bulky. Radiolink posted a msg on one of my y/t comments saying they are working on making the housing more ergonomic and easier on the eye.

I picked up a Radiolink and bought 3 two pack rx's from Amazon. $33 for a 2 pk of rx's is awesome.
I went this route because my Lynx 4s rx's are $90 now.

I have a FlySky GT5 and for what I do, it has worked well.

My son has one as well and has been happy.

Sort of orienting to all the RC6GS V3, with it's voltage monitor apparatus is the rx able to properly power a steering servo? I seen high powered servos run a com wire to the Rx and then splice the power into the battery proper...curious if that "splicing" is required with the R7FG Rx? Thanks!
