Tyre grip traction spray

I use this and it works well. It softens up tires nicely. My Moabs are almost to sticky, Iv'e gone through two sets of servo gears in the last couple weeks.

I like the spray bottle because it is easy to get in all the deep tread.

I dont have a crawler so i couldnt help you on that stuff but i do have that Trinity Buggy racing stuff. It works great on my tires for my Stadium truck. A little tip i heard is to wash the tires clean and spray them down and let them sit in a plastic bag for a week. By the end of the week they should be super sticky and soft.

i use a adhesive spray on my biketrials bike. i buy it at a sporting goods store i think its called stick-um they spray it on footballs to catch them easier, leaves a sticky residue on my bike tire when it gets on it, ill have to try on my crawler seems like it would work well and its like 5 or 6 bucks for a good size can.

To anyone using traction compound, how many times do you apply it to the tires? I coated my LSTs yesterday, but if I need to do it again, I want to do it while the tires are off the rims. Thanks.

I've been playing with Trinity's Buggy Grip crap.... After 5 coats of the stuff I think it has help a small amount, okay not really but they smell funnay.

Most of that stuff works better on the natural rubber tires, other than the fake rubber.

I think the UTRCRC guys use a bag of salsa and cheese to soften up their tires though, with good results. Then you can enjoy the stuff when you are finished too.

I usually would coat tires three times before I mounted them up. It worked really good for slicks on my TC.

yes but we mostly just use the dishwasher:lol:

I may buy some and try it out soon. I weak servo's right now. It would give me excuse to buy better ones.

I should try what I use on my shifter cart tires to soften them up.I mix one part mineral spirits, one part turpintine and one part brake fluid.Brush it on,let it dry and apply another coat or two.I know that you can over due it on kart tires so if you are gonna try this do it light at first!!!

i race pan cars on carpet and have cans of traction compound just hanging around. i buy the paragon FXII and it has enough grip on the carpet to flip my car in the corners. would this help my mashers grip any better on the rocks?
