U4 Micro Shark Build

I meant the entire drivetrain. The axles are not worm gear and overall it’s faster. More durable? Don’t know in how y’all use them.

If you’re looking for a faster motor though. Heck out some of the brushless tail rotor motors for the 380 sized heli.

Ahh i see what youre saying, i do like the clearence of the scx24 axles and i havent busted them yet but yes the gear reduction in the axles is not helping the top speed.

I like that setup and i dont run te interior so that isnt a worry of mine but id like to keep the battery tray in the shark chassis in its same spot cause the weight up front and low like that makes it work killer. I saw that motor but was curious about the battery consumption? Do they drain a lot of extra battery over the stock motor? I'll just order all of the 130 motor plates and see which one works the best for this setup:mrgreen:

I also ordered a couple 050 motors last night so ill let you guys know how they work.

I get about 45 minutes of run time on a 350mah battery. This is the combo I’ve been running for years in micro crawlers. Nothing beats it. Just solder a jstph2.0 connector to the wires and grab a 2mm .3 mod pinion and you’re good to go.
