Here's my nylint as it sits, chassis needs to be finished and electronics wired and mounted but you get the idea. The stick pack will be mounted lengthwise below the chassis and the RX and ESC will be mounted on the top of that.
Tx- Traxxas TQ3
RX- Traxxas TQ3 (broken antennna needs re soldered)
ESC- Kyosho Perfex
Steering servo- Futuba S3003
Winch servo- Traxxas 2055 modded for full rotation
Battery Pack- Duratrax Shark 1500.
The chassis is a piece of 5/16" all thread with a piece of brass or copper tubing spacing the axles (I found the tubing laying around my shop, came from a fire poker set don't know material), the shock/body mounts will be 2mm aluminum. Picture of the whole deal minus body and shock/body mounts. And yes the all thread will be cut down, I just haven't gotten to it yet.

Since I am planning on a stick, I have a few questions:

1. How are you mounting the batteries?
2. How did you do your steering?
3. What's with the wheel on the transmitter?
4. How did you mount your shocks?
5. Are you going to use 2.2s?

1. The pack is going to be zip tied lenghthwise (tube will sit in the little indent between the cells).
2. Steering isn't done yet buy I plan on just a link off the servo using the stock wheel to wheel linkage.
3. I was bored and I lost the foam to the original wheel, its a VMG tire with narrowed wheel.
4. Shocks will just be on some towers out of aluminum mounted on the all thread.
5. No 2.2's here, this is for a scale build.

No, school work and my new project have been taking up my time. I'll get on shock mounts eventually. I don't get the body till Christmas and I need to solder up some motor leads. I'm going to mount the electronics tonight though.
