its always fun to watch someone try to get back every penny they put into and also tack on mystery expense to the price as well. ive seen people ask almost 2 grand for traxxas products. just because you can put every option part or expensive crappy aluminum upgrade on a traxxas doesn't mean its worth that....it just means you wasted a ton of money on upgrades and are being laughed at on every web forum on the internet:lmao: not to get to far off topic but still related...I seen a guy asking $1200 for a kyosho mini z just because he had every mod know to man done to it...adding up receipts should just be for your own pity party and not to try and fool someone into paying twice retail NEW for your used crap.

I'm the opposite of this Guy to the T lol I pay top dollar and turn around and loose oh 50% even after a week lol some call it stupidity I call it bad luck, I paid 500 bucks open it look at it put it back in the box, list it for 300 not a nibble, my brother gave me 300 after six months...he beat the crap it if it and sold it for 600 with it broken.....I kinda need a hug.....

I'm that way too. I usually have parts for sale from rigs the I buy and I sell it for lower than what they go for used, but they always sell fast.

I've seen some ridiculous listings! They end up getting relisted a few times before the drop the price or they just disappear. Seems like the auctions that get the most bids are the ones that start out low. Once people get into a bidding war the price starts to shoot up. I've bought and sold on ebay and it seems it's more of a buyers market. Ebay and PayPal suck so much profit out when you try to sell. Buyers don't have any fees!

I feel that if I got my use out of it and know that someone else can use it im glad to get half for something because I can then buy parts I need now. I only do a 3 day auction on all of my listings on ebay because I want it gone now not later and I want someone to get a deal versus losing out in the last minute on day 7. the "a fool and their money are soon parted" goes for the ones that wanna pay the huge price when they don't know any better and I hate seeing noobs get taken for a ride like that...its just not right. call me stupid but if I lose money on something and it helps get someone into the hobby for a fraction of the cost then I really didn't lose but jokers listing traxxas slash trucks for over a grand and saying it has so many upgrades when its all worn out crap is just stupid.....I wish ebay had a "slap them now" button option:lmao:
