USPS insurance vs. tracking

I sent $100 wheels back to rc4wd, no problem on their part, just wasn't what I needed. I usually do Priority with delivery confirmation, knowing full well their tracking system is a joke. However, the hot post mistress talked me into insuring it but not delivery confirmation. Now Rc4wd hasn't gotten it and although I saved my receipt, I can't track it. Can the PO track it or is it lost?

I believe if you get insurance they have to have a way to track it. I dont think you can do it online thought, just at the Post office.

100% correct. The PO can track it but you have to go there.

Just call the post office and they will track it over the phone for ya. I do it all the time.
