USRCCA under new ownership

The brxl is the heartbeat of my rigs. Just keep the Torquemaster in stock and you'll always have my support. *Thumbsup*

Will there be any relationship with SORRCA or G6? I understand if the entities stay separate but it seems like with the RC ORVA would help promote these types of events.

Good news John....best of luck with this venture. I seriously hope it works out.

Question....in the new structure and site will it be possible for people with new event ideas with specialized rule formats to bring events forward that arent score related to everything else....something that may spawn another arena to compete in?

Again John....good luck.

This is extremely cool and well done on the acquisition. "thumbsup"

Will there be integration available for the Non USA USRCRCA clubs?

I am trying to do so. If it is time or point based, it will fit within our current method of generating score sheets.

Sorcca is on board with letting hosts use the RC ORVA for events with their classes. G6 we haven't heard back on.

Great to hear John
Let me know how I can help
I've been planning on a RCP Southern California Crawling Series for next year...because of the low turn-outs at the club level events.
I will speak with the local clubs, I think we can combine the club events and make them better, with organization & giveaways.
Maybe some of the other crawler stores could do the same in their areas.

This is sounding great! Maybe with ORVA, we can some day bring the Worlds to Asia and Europe. "thumbsup"

And by the way, I'm gathering the rules of RC Foff at the moment, I just need to finish traslating them. I can send them to you once it's done. 8)

Good luck John!

Dave really interested in this idea. I'm texting you now.

Great to see changes being made...looking forward to thr progress that i am sure will come around!

Great news JRH. I'm glad it's now public info. I have been excited about it for a bit now.

I'm already thinking about dusting off the crawler and getting back to crawling next season. It's been a while since I have been on here so I am sure my junk is outdated already. :)

Thanks for all the positive encouragement! We have gotten so much great feedback, and there are lots of folks looking to dust off their rigs.

Update from my side. We have the majority of the ORVA website programmed now, it is ready to go live with the most important features. We are also going to fill in comp data from previous years where possible. The calendar system will allow for scheduling comps and get togethers, with easy searching by date and location. We will also be integrating some new "rules" outlining methods of integrating get togethers with competitions smoothly. It's really just a fresh look on what hosting a comp should be, new ideas and methods to attract folks that aren't interested in running gates for bowling trophies.

Can't wait to unveil it!

Can we PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have a Mega Truck Racing Series? Over the next year there will be FULL aftermarket support for scale mega truck racing and even without this there are already people building trucks, setting up races and points series. Its even getting coverage by Big Squid. Adding it to RC ORVA will not only increase the health of the "MTRS" (Mega Truck Racing Series) but since the MTRS can easily be held at hobby shops (increasing exposure to people who aren't traditionally straight axle enthusiasts) it will also increase exposure to RC ORVA.

If this can happen I would greatly appreciate your consideration in having me on the MTRS rules committee.

I'm not familiar with this, I'll look into it! I see no reason that we couldn't integrate this into the RC ORVA.

Good for you John - thanks for all your hard work over the years and going into the future.

With your increasing level of involvement in all things crawling, I have to wonder when crawling will become known as "Holmesing".
