UTRCRC Moab RC Crawl-Off II, Moab UT, Sept 10th

...I left Saturday night. Everyone else is prolly just getting home about now.

Ace and Griz came bumpin up in the Ranger blarin some gangsta tunes as if they owned the place  And as it turned out, the Colorado boys did real well. Just don't let them build your courses

*note for 06*- step pins dont work on slick rock. Moab 40's and Losi LST pins were hookin up good. The masher 2.2's and mini moabs worked real well.

Nice pics!

That TXT sure has alot of flex!

That's my new prototype suspension that I'm working on, it's got over 90* of articulation and the front axle spins 360*. I pulled the threads out of a rod end causing 2 other links to pop off the ball studs, I was back up and running in no time.

I had a great time this weekend!! It was cool meeting Fishmaxx, killertxt and all the Utah boys. Thanks to Pinchy and K2 for organizing the event, as well as the people that donated prizes!!

I will be back next year for sure!!

I have been reading rccrawler for a while now gathering tips to build my rig. I was either going to get a v-prime or stick chassis (because I cant make my own:?). And If I'm correct it looks like Sparky J's stick type chassis kicked some utah *** on their home field! :flipoff: Well, I guess I know which chassis I'm getting!

The Colorado boys did well. Unfortunately I'm from Oklahoma!

It was good that Bender and SparkyJ took up the slack, I was getting tired of always carrying Griz and the other Co boys.

Fun time as usual!

I forgot... Wait till you guys hear what the UT boys do to soften their tires.

I got home about 8:00 and tired, but ran to the store and got some!

What a great weekend!! I had a blast despite having troubles with JYD. I replaced the front servo with a Hitec 5998 digital and didn't test it before I tried out the first course. Turns out that the 5998 draws too many amps for the SR BEC and I ended up tanking the first course.

It was great to see everybody again and those for the first time, I caint wait till next year. Pinch and Kaetwo really put on a nice event as usual.
Thanks to West Valley Hobbies, UTRCRC, ProLine, and HeydCo for the great raffle prizes. Support these folks as much as possible cuz they support our sport.

Sparky, Bender, and I had fun building the 3rd course for the day. None of the 2.2 were able to finish I think, and only Sparky and Nick were able to best our sqat to pee killer course.

After spending the morning on Sunday crawlin with Mike, Twisted Bob, and Brad I have decided to build a TLT tuber. Them things are just too cool.

I picked up a pouch of Mesquite flavored. Do you think it will work?
