vanquis products VS mayhem products

which is better for my LCC(losi comp crawler)

It's really up to the driver, I doubt they are going to want a vendor debate thread on here...

It's up to your style of driving and what look you like, take a look through some build threads and see what you like. That's the best advice I can give to you.

Good luck!!

ya but i am trying to ask what is best for proformance wise and what i should get based on what other people think if they have already used the wheels

Performance wise there is NO difference at all between the two wheels. They are wheels, they will not make your truck driver better or magically make you a better driver. They are designed to be an upgrade to the cheap plastic wheels that break. Some of the different vendors have different functions associated with their wheel designs. Some cost more some cost less. But in the end, its just a wheel.

Durability is the main reason for buying aluminum beadlock wheels. Both manufacturers offer extremely high quality wheels that function the same. They both bolt on the crawler and they both hold tires in the bead grooves.

Some people like Mayhems, Some like Vanquish wheels. it is all in personal preferences. Some like mayhems for their looks and the different functions that they provide. Some like vanquish wheels for their looks and different functions they provide.

Both companies make light wheels and heavy wheels.

Its a wheel. Just get what you like. Don't wait for other people to tell you what to get. Get what suits your budget. Get what suits your taste in looks. Both Vendors make great wheels that work great. They just both do it differently'

I have a personal preference, and they work very well for me. And they have always treated me well. And I have always appreciated it!

I think im gonna buy some vanquish wheels, I just like the looks and design better. I think they both have their strong and weak points based on design alone. Im pretty sure you would be happy with either brand.

Like stated, its just a personal preferance. VP is way more "bling" than mayhem in my opinion but they both will perform when simular wheels are against each other. Same goes for any wheel vendor on here though. But customer service, ship time, and COMMUNICATION are always top of my list, so if I were to buy straight from the vendor, Id go VP, they are always same day reply to me via email or on here via pm, never fail. Dont forget that some of the other vendors on here sell both mayhem and vp products too incase you want to shop else where.

The major undisputed advantage of the VP wheels is the fact that you can adjust your offset easy, cheap, and without unmounting a tire. Unless I am mistaking you can't do that with the Mayhems. Also if you choose to go with Dirty Harry Pro 2's then you can adjust the width of the wheels too. Lastly you can adjust the weight you are running with just a few screws. However they cost more.

My preference is VP and for the record I am team driver. I have also owned Mayhem wheels though, both in 2.2 and 1.9.

Both are great companies and make great wheels (I own sets of both). VP, however, has Losi specific hubs that allow the full nyloc part of the wheel nuts to thread onto the short axle threads losi decided to use.

VP all the way! Continuing with what Harley said, VP wheels are largely regarded as the best on the market. If you're concerned about performance, look at the results from any of the past dozen or so national level comps. The vast majority choose VP "thumbsup"

and the best part is you dont have to shell out $30 plus shipping everytime you want to change offsets like you do with VP hubs

but no doubt both are at the top of the comp game. you cant go wrong with either.

How many AX-10's are winning comps still? :ror: Parts choice plays a good sized roll ;-)

LOL! Crap, I went to rephrase my post and you caught it early! LOL!!

True, but either way, you are getting a good quality product!
