“Wild Turkey”
RECON G6

Northern California is home to one of the biggest RC Scaler Scenes in the country. It is no surprise that most of that scene are part of the RECON G6 Family. After all, OG6’ers such as Chris Goris,John Hallman, Bruce Peace, and Brad Bailey, aka “B-Rad” have all been driving in the 1.9 Adventurist Class. Ultra OG6’ers Mike Pham, VP Team Driver & Axial Team Driver, Thom KoWatch took adventure driving to a new pace. The “Training Wheel” Class, err, 2.2 Adventurist and Ultra has their OG6’ers too. Dan Wilson and “The Wraith” & Big Joe O’Donnell “Doin’ Work” made this class the fastest growing class of 2012.

The G-Train is refueling and headed back to a location that G6’ers still talk about; Sugar Pine Reservoir. Prep your G-Rides & dbl check that backpack, because this is a true scaling adventure. Awesome single track, technical rock sections, and no clear dirt to be found makes this the RECON G6 that Nor-Cal has been waiting for. The G Crew will see you getting your scaler fix, in the VP Wild Turkey RECON G6.

Here's a pic of a Turkey Beard. Keep it scale. I can think of several no to low cost ways to make a scale Turkey beard. Have fun if you choose to do this not mandatory, but highly recommended task.

Did I read that right? No clear dirt, so does that mean water proofing won't be necessary? Looking forward to trying to make this one…

Yes sir, you read that as right as I've read every desert race saying there's no whoops on the course!

This 1 sounds interesting, is any1 from Vegas making the trip?

There maybe a couple of Vegas G6'ers heading to Nor-Cal.

I'm going to make this one, might have to change some things around to get to this one.
Is there camping also?

READ ALL ABOUT IT! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

Ok Nor-Cal G6'ers, I hear you. You have exploded my phone with requests and now you have it.

The Rivas Concepts Show & Shine.

Here's your chance Nor-Cal to claim the most coveted scale car show award given away at a RECON G6, the Rivas Concepts "Best of Show".

But don't think that is the only award that will be up for grabs. I look forward to seeing trucks that are all go & no show!
