Anybody have one they can make a copy of for me? I got a key but can't find the media anywhere. Building a new system that will dual boot with 7 and Vista.
PM or email me.
Thanks!
Yeah, I'm really digging 7, I got it on a laptop and a desktop at work. So much better than Vista. Only reason I want to go dual so I have no down time between end of beta and release.
What are you running yours on Binary? I got it on a Latitude D630 and an Optiplex 755. System I'm building is a Q9300 quad on an Intel DG45ID board with a 9600GT vid card and 8 gigs of ram.
Ive only checked resources a couple times and it seems to use less than Vista, while at the same time having a more graphical UI.
As resources go its basically XP...but with the Vista pretty Aero crap (if your card will do it). So think XP with a better UI.
Mine is an old PC
Athlon 64 3700+
2GB memory
My goal was to see if it would work on old equipment since my office might be making the switch. We have some newer PC's but a few older ones in production so I decided to use the Beta on my old home PC.
I still think OS X is better...but with 7 they are getting closer.
