Great looking Origin! Cool to see another OG VS4-10 build thread! It brings back great memories when I was building mine a couple years back.

Your scale garage looks awesome! Mr. Miyagi applying wax is a nice touch!

I’ve been subscribed to your YT channel for awhile now and enjoy watching your videos.

Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing more!

Thanks! I am getting back to forums, been using FB and IG and it's are to track your build. I missed having one single thread to go back on to for references stuff when I rebuild."thumbsup"

Thanks man! The scale garage is fun, I enjoy taking/editing photos. Thanks for following on with my YT, more do it to archive past builds but more so now trying to get more people back into reg Comp Crawling up here at WARCRC."thumbsup"

I am going through the axles a bit and put in a front Hot Racing overdrive gear set. I also spend some time inspecting the axles for wear or issues and all seems well. I use this truck a lot for monthly WARCRC SORRCA Scale Comps and etc, and glad to see no issues yet.

Fantastic build!

Your rig is gorgeous and your trail/build pictures are incredible.

The iPhone on the shop bench waiting to get something dropped on it (like pretty much every shop I’ve been in) and just the over all 1:1 replication is awesome.

Everything is great!

Excellent thread!!!!!![emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Thanks! Yeah, I am pretty nervous with my phone in my real shop, been lucky so far.:mrgreen:

I spend some time on the rear axle of the VS4-10, bearings looked good. It has pretty minimal scratches on the diff compared to how much driving this thing gets, taller 4.75" tires help I think. I finally had some time to install the new VP under drive gear in the rear. Now to do some testing to see if the transfer case OD gears, front axle OD gears an the rear UD gears are too much.

Here is a little update on my Vanquish Products VS4-10 build, went through the shocks to check for issues and found an o-ring I might have not installed right, so I replaced it. Luckily I had a shock rebuild kit on hand (IRC00212). These are the 90mm version and I am pretty happy with them, pretty smooth. They also make a 80mm version I am pondering getting for some other tiny tire builds, not many other 80mm shocks out there to pick from.

Got some new tires for my Vanquish Products VS4-10, I went with the Proline 1.9 KM3's with the predator compound. The compound is pretty soft, excited to see out it does at the next WARCRC SORRCA Scale Comp. I am not sure I am going to run upgraded foams just yet, the truck is pretty like and I have been running much more stiffer foams then I wanted to before with my previous setup. I will see how it goes this weekend and order some foams if need bed. The details on these tires, along with other tires on the market now a days are just over the top, the amount of details they can get on the sidewall is pretty impressive. Now to get them mounted up and some testing in! ;)

Another update on my Vanquish Products VS4-10, mounted up the Proline KM3's on some 1.9 Method wheels. I used some LockedUpRC scale hardware and some acorn nuts that attach the SLW style hubs.
