What are some good 2.4ghz radios with a 3 position 3rd channel?

You're really not going to get any unbiased opinions BigB. Those that love the Spektrum will tell you to buy Spektrum. Those that love the Futaba will tell you to buy Futaba, same goes for the React and whatever else is out there. In an ideal situation, you'd be able to see which one fits your hand best, as in most comfortable to hold and has what features you want;-)
Do as much research as you can and then go with the one you like most and can afford.... That's the best advice I can give you"thumbsup"

x45. thats as good advice as you can pay for.

if price is a factor. you can get the react at Daves for around 245 shipped. they have a coupon code you can enter to get 5% off fo the listed 259. price.

Ahem... I happen to know someone who's got a React in the "For Sale" forum, a complete package with 3 recievers and an aluminum case who would probably let it go for $50.00 less than he's got it priced..:roll::roll:

EDIT: Changed the price in the for sale post to $200 to reflect the $50 off. NOT taking another $50 off now.

Check his feedback.. He's a good dude.

I use the DX3R on my 5 crawlers and savage xl. I love it! Picked it up on ebay for $250 + $10 shipping, new in box with receiver and everything.

I have both the DX3R and the Futaba 3PK. If you ever plan to do two motors and esc buy the 4pk. I run two motors and esc and I use the 3pk because it is the better radio for the application. If you have any of the older spectrum rec. the 4pk will work with those also. Yeah it is another 125 bucks now,but it will be worth it in the long run.
