What battery for Bully 2 RTR

Traxxas tmaxx steering arm bushings work great for replacing the small bearings. Robbob showed me that trick. I had some bearing troubles with mine. But they definitely weren't normal! Haha

Hey I was looking at your rig again, are those motor skids the 5 hour energy ones? Did you glue them on?

You should always go thourgh a RTR rig scale or comp check all screws and move the motor wires to top of motor (some screws will be loose).
Other than that drive the rig as is so when you do upgrades you see the difference. Brxl if it will fit in the chassis you could replace stock esc with the Brxl. Or sell the brxl to pay for part of the br-mini esc's.

My name is Matt.

BTW congrats on your purchase. Read up on some issues that might come up with the B2 axles so you can prevent them.
CVD's, bearings ECT. I'll look for bearing mod links.

Thanks Matt. On my RC4WD King of Hammers RTR the screws it came with were so rusted some literally snapped when unscrewing them, so I'll be looking at these screws like a hawk lol. I wanted to ask you if you guys run your weekend runs during the summer as well? I know it gets uber hot out there in the summer

I'll post up a few practice comps during the summer but very early in the morning. I usually get 1-4 drivers. Practice and leave when it starts getting hot.

Look for an 500 to 850 mah 3s, you will want to dump the factory plug (Tamiya?) pop a Deans or xt60

Ok I bought the 500mah version of these, should I run a Lipo Alarm on em? I have a couple of those cheap RPP alarms somewhere around here 🤔

You can run a lipo alarm or only run the 500mah for 10min per pack.

But if you have a Lipo alarm run it to find out how long you can actually run a 500mah lipo for.

It will work. Most run between 450 and 800, due to size and run time. If comping you will want a small battery, for just fun, the bigger ones give longer run times.
I’m odd I run an 800 and love them

okay I'm back from the LHS with my cc bec programmed to output 7.4v. They didn't have a battery small enough so I'm going to pull the trigger on the great planes one. Last question for you folks is can the xr4 receiver handle 7.4v input?

thanks!!!
