What did you do today?

From 1100kv to 1800kv, and functional 2660 shocks as opposed to springless 120mm Desert Lizards. Routed the motor wires underneath the tray rather than resting above the battery. Need to test it out on some lines I couldn't do. Also will be comping with the local guys starting on the 1st of June with Class 2 so I'll have to start a build thread on that as I will have all the parts soon. I wanted to convert this rig to C2 but I'd have to hack up the body more to be competitive and I don't want to do that. But this body does qualify to become a C1 which we may also start that class later this year once we get established.

Took all the leaves off the side of the front yard mx track for the promotion and other rigs, and spent a few hours dragging the oval track in the side/back yard trying to get it a bit flatter and in more runnable condition. bit soft atm on one end, and pretty bumpy. Still considering some clay on top but its over my drain field so I have to make sure water drainage up top, goes elsewhere so it doesn't flood my field from the clay. But I gotz a plan.

Sunday is my trail/track day. I told my brother I wouldn't make.
7am it started
New throttle cable and grips on the pit bike. Some dingbat had the cable at a 90* bend out from the top of the carb.
Straightened the triple clap so the handle bars would be straight.
Went to Lowes to get a bolt and nut for the upper motor mount.
Mercedes C280 got new front interior door handles.
Some idiot left out 2 bolts for the drivers window regulator. Fixed that now it doesn't tilt forward now while rolling up.
Chilled out with the dogs for the rest of the day.
End of the month routes are to be adjusted. I'll go from 70 hrs a week to 50-52 hrs a week. Finally I get to have a life again.
