what is a stinger

Well there are two stingers I know of. 1 is the exhaust pipe on a VW dune buggy, the other is the bumper on the front of a crawler that sticks out from the front of the Jeep that protects the front end from damage as well as help prevent a forward rollover when coming down steap inclines.

You can see a stinger front bumper on the buggy frame I bought for a friends build

You can see it on this yellow one too

if you wah real world wheelers, specifically rock crawlers, you will see a stinger bumper. basically, it is designed to prevent a rollover. thats why i made an EXO for my E-MAXX with front and rear stingers

"by rolling over do you mean flipping over like a front flip?" yes. in the event of a roll over your truck ( and on 1:1s you) ether go over sideways forward or back ward ( my favorite:mrgreen: ). and end up up side down

They can also be bad in some situations. They take away from your approach angle. Like when you come down off a STEEP rock ledge, and immediately have to go back up another rock. It will stick in the 2nd rock, and keep you from moving.
