so dont wanna pay 130$ for one of these tamiya bodys any one know if there gunna make them again? if not is there anything els close? i cut a bit much on this body and would like to start fresh.... for a cage redesign also

Maybe a fms/rochobbies mashigan body. You would have to piece it together and not sure if cost wise it's any cheaper.

i forgot about that one! might have to order the tub up to see how size is. all parts added to cart is 200$ for the body but it does have an interior

It's way bigger, almost 1/6 compared to the 1/12 tamiya, what you have...... you ciuld look for the new bright one. It is about 1/9 scale and can be found on ebay from time to time, and it also sports an "interior". Came in a Mud version as well. Like this:

The Mashigan is 1/6 but it is not that big. The Tamiya YJ is small. When it was the only option, was cool. Now, I'm more inclined to the bigger one because gives you more options in axles and tires

You might still be able to find the proline 09 wrangler body it’s 12.3 wb but it’s been discontinued for awhile

If JK body will work for you, the are 2 options on AliExpress - 280 mm wheelbase 3 door JK or ~320mm wheelbase ( seller states 313mm) JK 3 door pickup body. First one really 3 doored body, second one - full front doors, chopped rear doors - 5 door body converted to pickup , asks for more efforts to receive rigid body as a result

There's also a Newbright TJ that pop's up every now and then. It's just about equal in size to the Tamiya YJ.

I’m trying to stay close to the Tamiya YJ sizing without having to chop too much. If it’s a good match, I’ll keep an eye out for one on eBay or the marketplace.
