What transmitter and receiver should I get?

Rite now I'm looking at dx3c or dx3s. Any thoughts on other receivers would be good to! Ps I'm not looking to spend a fortune.

Go for the dx4s if you want to stay with spektrum. I just changed from the 3s to the 4s. Love it so far.

What receiver is best?

I'm a Futaba guy and I don't know the first thing about Spektrum. I can say that with the new vattera twin hammers truck that just came out, I'd bet there will be plenty of the 3 channel radio gear out of that for sale. You could probably pick up the spektrum 3 channel and a waterproof receiver for fairly cheap. Maybe try ebay? Or here on the forums to save yourself the ebay fees.

I checked ebay and am not seeing anything yet. Just an idea if you have a bit of time to wait for your purchase
