What are peoples opinions on the best 100$ servo? Savox has a few in the 350-500oz/in range, holmes has the v2 at 500oz/in, promodeler has a 470oz/in for 100$ as well. So many options, and not many dedicated threads on servos in this specific range.

Is the promodeler site the only place to get them? they charge 10.50$ for shipping!

Also for consideration is the HH servo is for sale on RPP which has a 10% off sale for June. so its 90 instead of 100. Ideally Id like to purchase the servo from them or some other seller with a similar discount.

The Holmes HV500 is really nice, super quiet, fast and strong. I'd have no problem buying another.

ProModeler 470
Shipping usually is thru USPS , he charged me 3.00.
Either way, you will love the PM !

florida to florida shipping, correct? I mean 10 dollars shipping for RC stuff wouldn't make me sway one way or another one a part, just saying. I dont think you can go wrong with the pro modeler or holmes. Both are known for backing their product.

I live in Canada so had to pay higher shipping plus taxes/import fees for my Promodeler's, but they are stunning and very well made. I also like Holmes' servo.

I had mine shipped to the UK with no duty, just need to ask John to put a small declaration [emoji106]

I didnt pay duty - Duty isn't applied if the product is made in North America. My fees were taxes (GST) and import handling fees from Customs. Usually if I keep the value around $80 CAD or less they leave me alone, but anything over they get me.

Either way, still worth it for these servos. The company owner followed up with me shortly after I purchased to see what I thought and to make sure I was happy. That kind of service is rare these days!

Indeed, John's kept in touch with me for near on a year now, solid guy, very genuine and a terrific product. Goes a very long way in my book [emoji106]
