I got a slight issue. Not really a problem. I got Vanquish Products ProComp DH Series rims, and 8# Rockhammer Hybrid Reach foams. 2 or 3 tires seem to wobble a bit. kinda more annoying than anything. this happened to me with the stock axial lizards and stock axial rims. any suggestions to fix the wobbleling. or is this a normal thing??

Washers

Just take some thin washers and slide them on the axle shaft after you put the wheel on and then put the hex nut on. I put 3 on my clod axles with 8 shooter rims.

Most any hobby shop will have shim packs in various sizes. Shimming up the stubs and the bearings will help.

It's a good practice to shim everything....I do. Shimming things up takes up slack. That'll make for smoother operation, better performance and longer lasting parts. You can shim to far and tighten things up to tight,so watch for that.

Thanks... I have the same issue. I have an old shim pack from a very old buggy that should do the trick.

Read a little, learn a lot.

Thanks again.

Peace

i had wobble, when it tried to figure out what was going on, it was actually the tire. i had the hardest freakin time mounting m2 hammers on my mayhems, so the bead was a little off here and there so it actually cuased the rim/tir to look like it was wobbling. i ran just like that cause i didn't want to fool with it again.

Watch the bearings in the knuckles as they will fall apart if not maintained or if you just plain abuse them without ever maintaining them:ror:

This is bearings that became no bearings......

maybe just live with it, i did, just didn't want to fool with the trie mounting. i bought some hpi rock grabbers and these were the easiest tires i have ever mounted on the mayhems. then again i only had a few sets of tires. haven't tried them all. i also only run mayhems. it might affect the way your rig handles but i have never felt a difference. it just looks off and that was the only thing that bothered me.

Good point. Cleaning the bearing pockets and bearings will help allot with wear. I had to laugh, that picture looked allot like my 1:1 Toyota a few months ago.....bad wheelbearings.:lol::lol:

i have an ax10 rtr and the wheels seem to lean in on the top. dont think that it effects anything but it bugs. will the washers fix that?
