Man NOT COOL.....Blahhh...blahhh....blahhh! It's not survey paint, it's spray chaulk in a can. Also just to let you know there was a forest ranger who stoped and checked out what we were doing and even took some pics and said it was fine so on his way he went. He stood there and watched for a good 20-30 min. and said we had some cool toys."thumbsup"

thats what we call it here. but as i said, it "wears" away in a short time. the city marked my power lines last week because we're landscaping, and before i could do my layout, it all washed away the first time it rained!! and that was on grass, dirt, rocks and some asphalt.

trust me it only does that when you dont want it to.....use sidewalk chalk, I still have marks on the road from 4 years ago when they dug to build our house. on natural rocks they tend to stay forever! I know I was a contractor and used that paint daily, I can still go back after many years and find it in some locations. To me is just shows lack of respect for the areas we use to crawl on, If it where me, I Would go back with wire brush and water and clean it all off, but thats me

i'm sure it stays on the rocks forever, your in arizona! well it tends to RAIN and SNOW here on a very regular basis. surely you've all heard about the rain in the pacific northwest. well, i personally didnt put it there. in fact i was an hour late for the comp. chalk in a can is chalk in a can. formulas have changed over the years, IT GOES AWAY, and frankly, this is way off topic!! just because what one used a year, or two or ten years ago is irrelivent to this. lets not p.c.-ize this. as likestocrawl pointed out, but apparently everyone has IGNORED, there was a park ranger that stopped by to observe what we were doing in the woods and he was o.k. with the CHALK PAINT we used, so enough already!! jeez.

nuff said glad to hear about the ranger. and oh by the way it I average 4 feet of snow a year at my AZ house. hope it all goes well for you, are you going to make a laydown version?

Nice looking chassis! Very unique and still looks really fuctional. Nice to see another AZ guy in here! Tomorrow's high is 115 here in the valley. sure wish I was up in flagstaff!

To be perfectly clear on this issue, the product we used in NOT marking paint. Is is spray chalk, to be used for temporary marking in the landsaping industry. It washes away with the weather.

PRICE LIST!!!!
hey kreepy i plan on buyin one of these. i sent you a pm early. so yeah prices would be nice.

o.k., o.k. i havent heard back from the cutter, but he gave me a BALLPARK estimate of a finished, retail price of AROUND $50-$60.00 for the chassis and electronics tray(s). i cant guarantee the final price, but i think thats gonna be pretty close.

i'll have to come up w/ those solid prices atfer the weekend. the cutter has my templates as of yesterday, and they told me it would be mon. or tue. before they would have a confirmable price for me. the links and such will be slightly less than if i sold you just a set of links, which run around $38.00 w/out ends. the link asnd servo/link mounts would also be a little less in the "kit" form.
