which strait axle and strait axle adaptors should I use

I need to get rid of the stock lockouts. I figure I am going to go with a strait axle and adaptor to get rid of this week link. I was looking out at RCP and TCS. There is only a few $ difference in price between the RCP ones and the axial ones at TSC. Which one is better or which one do you suggest?

I've got the RCP adapters on both our 2.2's and love them. Dang near took all the "slack" out of the rear axle.

All my STRC parts are working out perfectly. I put a teflon bushing between the adapter and the hex. It takes up most of the endplay and seems better than having the two aluminum pieces bearing against each other :idea:

I have not used any of the STRC parts. anybody think one is better than the other or are they all about the same as long as they are aluminum?

id say go with the axial aluminum ones they have zero slop and are the best looking imo.

I'm using rcp adaptor and axle shafts and they are great. I can't comment on any of the others though.

on my first rig I used all of rc4wds stuff and I bent the axles in a matter of a couple of days. Im going to be running everything from rcp on my comp rig that im building. Iv herd nothing but good things about rcp products. and rite now they have that package deal that you cant beat "thumbsup"

I have STRC lock outs, knuckles, and C's and I havent had any problems from any of it.

I have STRC rear axle lockouts. they are awesome. Plus they come in a varity of colors and the axle's them selfs are 5mm SS all the way. Check them out. "thumbsup"

I am using the axial axles with the plastic lock outs like what come with the RTR and ARTR. They work just fine.

Pardon me if I sound like a idiot here... The kit that RCP has is for the front and rear right. The strait axle adapters would get rid of the rear knuckles so the ones in the kit are for the front right? I know that is a dumb question I just want to make sure that I am on the right page.

I usually go with RCP for all of my axle goodies. Their stainless str8 axles are BEEF!

On top of that, they have superb customer service, and just as good shipping times. Thats not to say that other vendors arent like that as well. I have had excellent experiences with all of them"thumbsup"
