Hey All. New here but not to RC. New to Crawling, well kinda. About six months in with a Axial AX10 and a Losi MRC. Been seeing a few people flipping there transmissions in the Mini Rock Crawler and just wanted to know why. And also what are the pro's and con's. Didn't want to do it if I don't need to, or if I will not like it and have to do it all over again to put it back to stock.Been on other forums but this is my first Rock Crawler forum I have joined. Lots of killer info and pictures fellas. Thanks for the info in advance. WrenchHead

I know the main reason for my was more room on the front 3-link for my lipo battery. Not sure if there was any real benifit. I head that it eliminates torque twist but I can't tell if it does or not.

from some of the things I have read. Other then making more room for a battery. There is no real benefit for flipping it. It can also kill the stock motor a lot faster.

The only benefit is more room for the battery on the front upper link, torque twist is the same. I've got many hours on mine with a flipped transmission and have yet to hurt the motor, the stock timing isn't advanced far enough for it to hurt much IMO.
