I have a 2.4ghz 6 channel Controller already.
Ok had a MASSIVE Play over the weekend on a 1:1 wheeling trip and the creeper was a hit in the down time. I saw some of the guys Flog it BAD and it didn't miss a beat... Till the rear "Locker" stopped working, Open centre now. No biggy already have to spool for it.
Late on the sunday arvo it was glitch's so bad I had too turn it off. It was literally driving off it the tracks on it's own. Front and rear steering doing there own thing then forward, reverse, dig, etc.
So I think it's time to upgrades the "Electric's. I don't want to change the motor or the Controller. So what else is there? Whats a good price? Good Brand? Good Site too get it "Electrics" From?

1st your motor timing is off, turn the motor can and adjust its timing.
2nd look for the thread "on the creeper wagon" tons of info about torque twist and how to eliminate it.
Yer been talking too RMD heaps about it all and its getting there.

Sorry I missed your post bro...BEC= battery eliminator circuit. basically a voltage regulator, wires inline with your battery but only powers your steering servo or servos. in your case, since you have front and rear steer you would probably want the "Castle Creations BEC PRO"
Do a web search for where you can get it the cheapest.
Now Im really convinced its the lack of power to your servos,,,I think as you run the rig is pulling so much power for the servos it causing a power loss in the entire electronic system and causing the glitching.

Do they come with the Reciver or do I need to get one? Or is it talking about the reciver I have on my crawler already?
Is there a RC for dummies book/write up somewere?
As for the lack of power the Battaries were fresh (12v Battary charger on my Troll) the remote battaries are rechargable ones that were down too the red light (Green, Yellow, Red)

Listen man we all had to learn some portion of what we know about everything dont feel bad.
The links you provided are both the same thing except one thing,,one link shows both and you can order one or the other or both. The one specifically on Liquidrc,,the "black" one is the PRO,,,it is a heavier unit but will handle a much higher load. I say to get the PRO because you are using front and rear steer right? If you only use one steering servo for the front then the Blue 10amp BEC is fine. Some companies will offer to prgram it for you or you can purchase the Castle Link which is needed to program the output voltage of the bec whether you get the 10amp or the PRO. The PRO also has dual output leads on it so you wire one set to the front servo and the set to the rear servo. I currently run a 10amp blue BEC on my Creeper and it handles my JR DS8711 just fine,,,its prgrammed for 6volts. I bought my own Castle Link for programming.
When the ads speak of the receiver it means the one you have in your rig....I can help you hook it up for best results if and when you get one.
One side note...I cannot guarantee this will solve your glitching issues but I do think its the reason but regardless it will save your servos in the long run. The steering servos we use need power,,and lots of it all the time. WHen they dont get enough power they can glitch and arc internally causing damage. My 8711 servo puts a huge drain on my system if I dont use a BEC, that in turn robs power from the receiver and the ESC which causes other problems.

I'll get the PRO up front. What does the programming achive? Does it just set the voltage? How do I know what my servo's need?
I have Front and Rear Steer and Dig. I have a 6 Channel Reciever. I can't think of the brand but I know i have hobbywing gear on it somewere :s Is that the Reciever? There is a Tiny thermo Fan on there too. Can you see any of that in the last pic's on page 2 with the body off.

run your dig servo straight from the Receiver but the two steering servos from the Pro. look up your servo model numbers through Google and looks for specs,,in fact type in the model followed by the word specs. Like "JR DS8711 specs" and enter your search in quotation mark "your servo here" then it will look for just what you need.

Ok you esc is mounted to the left side of your tranny and the esc,,both steering servo and your dig servo all plug into the receiver...just make a note of which port each thing plugs into. you dont want to have to hit the brakes to go left or steer left to go forward....lol

The servos you are using are probably a huge part of your problem,,,these tower pro's are known for failure,,,at the minimum you need a bec but you might also look at least some Turnigy servos,,,I can get you a link later today after work

Running a servo like that will be like when you change to Rovers,,NIGHT AND DAY.
That servo is rated for 6vdc so thats what you want your BEC programmed for.
