I'm gonna be following this one. I saw the 1:1 Blower Buggy out at the 2011 KOH ripping up the step on Backdoor. It sounded like a fire breathing dragon every time he blipped the throttle on it. Chilling how healthy that rig sounded.

The 1:1 is ridiculous and looks like your version is well on its way to being just as nice. Im not too familiar with the Twin/Mad Force trucks. How does that suspension set up allow for articulation? Thanks and keep up the good work.

i wont be using the entire control arm, only the part that goes around the axle. i will have links going to the mounting points on them. yeah i could have done it with axial axles like most do, but im tired of seeing almost every scaler have the same damn axles. wtf:roll:. i like the twin axles because you can pick the track width to suit your rig. and just a warning, if you use the rc4wd aluminum axles you are at the mercy of a machinist to get the track width you want, but that is definitely not the case with the plastic ones. i done my first ones with a hacksaw, the servo and link mounts can be found with a little searching, but that's part of the fun of the hobby"thumbsup"

and with that said, im proud to see you using the blackwells millrtme "thumbsup"

That makes a little more sense now. I hear ya regarding the axial axles. It make sense from an aftermarket stand point to use them, but would the Super Crawler really look right sitting on the equivalent of Dana 60's? I have my doubts about the blackwells durability but they will look pretty standing still. We will see how much abuse they can handle. From what I have read you should be fine in the durability category.

can you clock them only like the stock front housing or can you bring the pinion down flat like the rear

Looking good so far Gabe, what width are you gonna run your axles? Have you found a source for inners or are you going custom on that?
