Ok, the title says pretty much all what i like to ask. So if want to save some money, i buy plastics over aluminum wheels. But will it be just wasted money?

IMO, no, they will not last. But then, I can be pretty hard on my rigs. I have broken a few delrin beadlocks right at the hex.

I would recommend going to a metal or Delrin rim when you have the money to do so. If you just can't afford it and want to get to crawlin you probably will be okay for awhile with plastic rims.

I used a set of axial wheels for a comp and stripped out the hexes on three of the wheels I am running delrin wheels and havent had any issuse yet
