Winch and winch wireless controller

Hello good people. Need advice.
Was thinking of doing or at least trying to build my own servo winch. I know I can buy it but tight on budget now.... so my question is to operate it can I use any wireless controllers, ie rc4wd one or yeah racing one? Or it has to be specific build for that servo winch?

Most of the time when you run a servo winch it ran off of a spare channel on the radio. To increase power you can connect a BEC up to it.

I don't have a spare channel, so wanted to use it with rc4wd wireless controller. Since a winch requires only power i don't see an issue..... but ibdobt know much about ut

U can use the mentioned controllers to control the servo winch. Heyok here in the forum also offers an wireless controller.

I know about him. But already have a controller.... as I said tight budget... otherwise would have bought it from him.... he has nice stuff

Do a search on how to make a servowinch there are plenty of guys that make there own , yes controller you are asking about can power the winch ,
