Wisconsin Crawlers - Google Map of crawling spots

You should add the crawlspot in jefferson. For the addy look in the jefferson comp threads.

Thanks, it's on there. The plan is to eventually get this info all easily accessible, so I'm going to be building a site at www.wirccrawlers.com. All informative, not for advertising or profit, just a place to quickly reference for info.

Could you add Bairds Creek in Green Bay? Its a mountain bike trail area with water, rocks and hill climbs.

Thanks

I was checking out your map and I noticed Kettle Moraine State Forest... has anyone checked it out for crawling. Just thinking, a moraine is a glacier deposit of rocks..."thumbsup"

You could add Big falls rec area. It's just east of Eau Claire....

Also Rib Mountain state park in Wausau...

Interstate Park In St Criox Falls, we crawl on the MN side but is pretty much the same, will give you more later on as I come up with them

I Mountain bike there all the time. Though I've never hiked the trails I don't see any slab rock or anything like that mostly small chunks a little larger then gravel.

tjb - I got Rib Mountain and Intstate Park, but I'll need a little more direction on the Eau Claire spot.

Thanks guys, keep them coming!

Zoom in on Eau Claire, and do search for Big Falls. It should come up as #1 in the tear drop thingy. It's just east of EC, or north of Fall Creek just before the river. If that don't work shoot me a PM......

I stopped at Rib Mountain State Park on my way home from hunting the other day, and must say that I was excited by the potential of this place. You could create comp courses all over the park.

Unfortunately, I had broken a front knuckle crawling around the stuff at the cabin...but I've had aluminum one's in reserve for a while now.

Here's some pics of some area's I thought could prove to be interesting. Click the image for a larger version.

Good deal. I just wish it was in a better location for holding comps for more people. I already drive almost the same distance to run at Taylor's Falls. But if we could get a group GTG at least, but I would make the trip to run a comp, as would some of the MN guys maybe too. "thumbsup"

This place is huge, and almost as good as Taylor's falls. There is a quarry on the west end of the hill also. But I have no clue who owns it anymore. The more west you go from the towers the better it gets also....

Theres High cliff state park and i have 6 ton of rock in my basement everyone is welcome in Appleton Wi just pm me or give me a call 920-313-0027......................kasper

Hey guys, I got a site up and running for Wisconsin crawling stuff. Just got it going, so design is still going to be in flux for a little bit. Any recommendations on content or if you'd like to help run it in any way would be appreciated.

Hello Wisconsin Crawlers.

I am new to the crawling world but have been in RC for some time. You should add High Cliff State park to your map. I went there a month or so ago. With a buddy and had a blast. I will be back with my new axial.

Just my 2 cents

Mitch

I'm the buddy! Yeah, it's a great spot to crawl, bash and trail run. We didn't get to check out some of the more extreme areas that day, it's pretty spread out. There are alot of places I haven't fully explored yet, glad you had a good time!

The google map and forum us back up and running at www.wirccrawlers.com. Sorry about having to take the last site down. This one is a bit more spam-bot unfriendly, so I intend to keep this one going. :)

How about using some GPS data to help pinpoint the main spots at these locations?

You know, using coordinates like "42.086309, -87.896296".

Can use this site to 'home' in on it.
