Wisconsin rigs

Small update on my summer runner build . MIP's intalled, HH 35T bolted in, electronics gathered up and ready to be tucked away, and some grill mods to get some steel upfront. I was thinking a simple tube style bumper for the rear. I'm kind of excited to see how she ends up. Anyway, some pics:

I want one now...

Are you gonna wire the ol' girl for lights right away too."thumbsup""thumbsup"

I have the full light kit from the first setup, so yes! The bumper is drilled for a winch, but I might just add a pair of Axial light buckets instead. By trimming the lower grill I lost the amber running lights, might have to find a way to squeeze those in. I'm thinking some rock lights might be cool for a night run "thumbsup".

Did you think about trimming the lower part of the front fender to maybe clean it up a bit since you eliminated the stock bumper?

Yup, and that also means trimming the fender flares. I'm not sure what hieght the bumper will be yet, so I might hafta add a small strip back to fill in. I used the old grill, so I still have another shot to get it right!

I hope so, they ain't cheap . I'm kinda going for a clean, sporty, mildly-lifted look. I'm trying my best to do it right this time.

If the Growlers don't work out, this would be another option at 4.33 inches tall.

I really shouldn't slam the TF too much, it is a very scale rig. I think I was expecting it to drive like a 4 linked coilover sprung SCX-10 which wasn't fair on my part. My Axials are all modded and go just about anywhere I want (I got spoiled!).

If you want one get it! Mine needs a trail buddy .

what noticed is I really need to clean up my work area and organize it like yours :ror:, and very nice work did you glue the wood in place?

I agree with 460 "thumbsup".

Here's all I have to offer for now. Poser shots with the Growlers semi-mounted on reversed rims (slightly wider trackwidth) and flares taped on for a general idea of the final look.
