worm gear??

was using chainsaw grease for a long time, worked well. switched recently to john deere hd moly and love it. a lot of guys use lucas red n tacky and like it. also proboat marine grease has been used with satisfaction.
 
i use mystik grease and it is extreme pressure shock load rust and corrosion protection cost me like 4 bux for a 14oz tube at walmart and i use a baby med syringe to put in the grease ports
 
I used Lucas Red High Tac in the beginning and was happy.

I switched to that green slime stuff used for paint ball guns called Hater Grease last year. A few others seemed to have liked it so I tried it. Temps felt better and seemed to stay together rather well.

I still have that in my rear axel but my front axel has the HD gears so I decided to try Losi's grease in that alone. Tore the axel apart last night doing some weekend prep work and was very pleased with the looks.

Grease was still in there, didnt seem like it had burned off any or squished it into the axel tubes away from the gears. My HD spool and worm showed very little wear and theyve been in there since they became available.




Maybe Killswitch will chime in here too, he's mentioned another grease Horizon has that looks to be the same as the Losi. I think you get more for a little less $$.
 
Tried rocksmith and worked well, but too expensive in my opinion.

Have lucas r&t now and it runs cooler than the rocksmith. Bonus is that it can be had pretty cheap at most auto parts suppliers.
 
You should be fine with that grease. if for some odd reason the front /rear gets really warm then i would plan on switching to something else
