Wraith/AX10/SCX10 pinion bearing mod

Just placed an order for 2 Wraith housings. Are there any SCX housings left? I would like 4. I'm building a 6x6.

I dont have any SCX housings right now, I keep just a small stock on them since they dont seem to be as popular.

If you would like 4 housings, I should have them ready in just a couple of weeks. Let me know and we can arrange a pre payment and that way it can ensure you get all 4.

Erik, any chance of sending you 4 housings and having the mod done to them?

Also is it a 5x13x5 bearing or a 5x13x4?

I am sending a PM now...

Nope! The mod is actually done to leave a little extra meat behind the bearing. Which keeps it spaced out and gear mesh is perfect!

I run the Dlux modded product on my Sexo, scx and yeti... All pushing 4s brushless power!

It all depends on what gear ratio you run. I leave a hair more material for a good tight mesh on a standard ratio. Under drive will be a bit tight and over drive will be sloppy. So, if you have over drive, which is usually a bad idea, you will probably want to shim it a touch. If I remember right I think it was .020" or .5mm?

Thanks guys, I normally run over in the front and stock in the rear. I do have shims so it won't be an issue. I just got them today so I'll get building tonight.
Thanks Erik, I really appreciate everything."thumbsup"

It should show 37 in stock. Make sure youre not looking at the AX10/SCX10 housings. I am out of those and they will say out of stock.

Wtf... i went to axles then sub category wraith and it shows out of stock, i promise u.. i wouldn't waste my mind right now if it wasnt out of stock..
