wraith no more. starting a new thread

Update.
Had to put some money into my truck. Ball joints. Shocks and lift pump. Kinda killed my Rc crawling for awhile.
Last run blew my rear gears and a front universal. I'll order this week and be back to crawling next weekend.

My dualy is sitn tall now.

I've been negletting my truck for quite awhile.

Looking forward to getting back into it. Also looking forward to building a TTC type rig around the awesome kms winch I've been lucky enough to get my hands on. Thank you KMS.

Thanks man.

I primed with black and it looks hot all black. Next time will be black

Few semi recent pics

Ok.
Fine wheels, than axial 2.2. 8 hole beadlock wheels. My be axial 2.2 wheels.

I look you video. You wraith driver rock very good !
And very good driving plase.

Axial 8hole bead locks are also very good. I also have a set of axial bead locks my pit bull rock beast II tires are bolted to them

Not to purposely confuse matters but the rock crawling video s might be with a 900kv airplane out runner. I ran it for 6 or 8 months and its runs smooth right with sensored and brushed crawler motors.

I'm currently running a 1/8 scale 2100kv motor that isn't quite as smooth but still holds its own while rock crawling

Great vid man ,Its good to see the family there too "thumbsup",, Robert

Thank you. I haven't forgot about your winch;) I may push the 5 month deadline. Winch just won't work on my chassis. I did some cutting and hacking but ended just welding it back together how it was.
I've rounded up my wraith seats and have been eyeing my stash of 3/16 rod. I'm thinking some time soon I'll start a new build around your winch and a pair of seats. It still be rock buggy is but wider in the middle so I can turn a 2200 3s perpendicular. Took some measure men's and I only need a bout a 1/2" more width on each side of the skid.

Messing with my new phone

Been running my cut tsl's also doing some back to back running with other tires I also have. I feel these tires are the best of the best.

Off course I have photos

Father's day fabbing.
Had this in mind for awhile. A little more scale 2 seat bouncer but simple. Im not big on lots of curves and man its hard.

The build is based around the wraith seats the nose is long enough to accept a kms k3 winch and 2200. I had planned on putting the battery sideways behind the seats but it looks like it will fit up front. Think I will leave room for a 4s to strap behind the seats when I feel like breaking stuff.

Rock buggy with a winch maybe a ttc rig.

got her sitting on all fours made her sit lower then normal to may be compensate for more weight up high.

I'm liking this build it's kinda like something I'd build in the 1:1 world

First time with seats, my kids were all excited to get some people in it.

still lots to do
6.2lbs as she sits, hoping to be 7 or not much over when finished

Wish I made the roof Lind flater, oh well

Thanks.
6.5 was my goal I'll be well over that when done.

Did a testvrun. Chassis ended up exactly .5 lb heavier then my comp crawler chassis

Broke my front max shaft. I knew better but still tried to crawl out of a situation were one front tire was bound up hard.

Ripped the yoke of the male end. Hobby store had no max shafts in stock but I had two female ends. Walla. Yes my housing is sloppy and no longer holds bearings or bushing. The shaft pushed all the way on and is shied to snug up the bushing some.

I've broke two max shafts in 1.5 years of crawling and sand bashing. I'll soon upgrade to a revo shaft on the front

Making a home for the awesome k ms k 3 winch. Sacral is ed a pos Futuba servo in mock up.

Off course there's got a be a spot for the winch spool to come out. Massaged this with a carbide bur and sanding then sprayed cat Yello. Black wasn't doing it for me.
