Wraith trans w/dig in AX10

Guys I'm in the same club as grimgreg and know the guy he's talking about. First off, I want to say VP makes some of the nicest hopups and add ons I've ever seen and run almost all of them available on my xr. The truck he's talking about is one of the smoothest best setup ax10s I've ever seen. I have also personally witnessed this VP dig bind and not release on several occasssions and cost the driver reverse points or worse. He is running the hitec mighty mini servo which should be (by your own admission) plenty of servo for this dig. I'm not saying it is not a great dig, in fact I think its the best option out there. I am simply saying that grimgreg has a valid case of a truck that will bind the dig. I will shoot some video of this truck next time I see the owner and post it up so you can see.

Again, VP stuff rocks and I will continue to purchase those items that make my truck work!!

I've got a VP dig sitting at my box in the US to pick up, and I'm looking quite forward to it. I have no concerns about it binding. I'm certain that with proper setup, I'll have it running perfectly. By the looks of things, and all the great reviews, it's worth it's weight in gold.

Are the drive cogs on his VP dig properly lubricated. And he shouldn't have to take a reverse, just ease up on the throttle.

Has his dig always performed like that? How often does he inspect /maintain it?

I do wish vp made a dig unit for the wraith tranny. BECAUSE the vp stuff is an awesome product. I have their knuckles chubs lockouts wheels cms and panhard on my wraith and knuckles chubs front and rear tranny housing chassis and wheels on my ax10 and there all perfect in every way. "thumbsup"

Couldn't you just use the ax10 outputs?
