There web page says the 20th But my local Radio Shack has them . Its a Xmod Truck ,With a 4x4 upgrade,Motors,Lift.Tires Upgrades. Its what weve all been waiting For .1/28th RockCrawling. Now Stock its 2wd and pretty fast. Then with the Lift and bigger tires You need some new gears. Its Blows the Overland away!! and at $59 bucks .The rear has a ton of Articulation ,It looks like you could buy 2 and mod the rear to fit the front and have a great crawler. Exept the Gears .It needs a Little Reduction. I just Need a Jeep Body now. I'll post some pics Later .Or just do a search for xmod Evo theres pics on the web.

Is the quality as good as the overland? I have a couple Mini-z's and Xmods and the Mini-z's are WAY better quality.

It seems Better than the Overland. I have A MiniZ and the first Xmod and its built way better than both.I beat it for almost 2 hours strait last night ,Jumps ,and just bashing and no probs. Its not a Full Crawler but.. It could be. Way more fun that the Nylint that brakes in about 5mins.

man i just saw some on ebay they look pretty sweet i like the walker evan wheels and bfgoodrich tire upgrade heres a pic

Technically, x-mods are another vehicle that is produced by a national chain, but manufactured by one source, so, in japan, x-mods are HPI's. Just like the VMG, is now a Schumacher MM, and an A-tech Leo in japan.

If those are the "big" tires, I'm dissapointed. They look decent, but I think they are just too small. Maybe good for someone wanting a table top truck, that has some time to make some artificial driving area.

So is it a 4X4, or a 2X4, you say it has a 4X4 upgrade, which leads me to believe 4 wheel drive, then you say stock its 2wd, so which is it?

it comes stock as a 2WD vehicle...and there is an upgrade kit that adds a front diff, gears, dogbones, and the drive shaft to make it 4WD

and for the trucks you get a lift kit, bigger tires, and brush guards as well to make up the "offroad" kit

anybody have a link that shows the xmod trucks//all i could find was the cars??
do these come with rechargable packs??

There were some dudes warning that the front knuckles were defective with cracks right out of the package so ckeck yours in the store if you buy one.

yes same with the mini z overland there very crappy you would need to get a metal or alum set if they make it for the xmods thats the first thing that went on my overland but once your buy the new ones its fine after that and you all got to remember that there very small think SCALE would you be driving your hummer at 120mph into a telephone pole lol i think not :) i learned the hard way 15.00 and 4 days later i was back on the road

Damn. It only cost you $15 to fix your hummer? I knew they were crap, but it costs me more than $15 just to change the oil in my subaru.

Crawler Tip

The back axle mount rotates as you may know  What makes it stop? I fount out! There is two little bump stops keeping it from flexing more. With a minute with the dremel you can spin the back axle 360 :-P But the motor wires stop it from goin 360 :x :flipoff:

How tall are their "tall" tires? I slapped some lego tires on my Xmod a few years back when I tried to 4x4ize it. The motor was never strong enough though. But atleast lego's use a decent rubber.

i used the lego rubber on road tires on my xmod. They use them on some of their drag racers and other on road cars. Anyway those tires are a bit bigger than stock, and about 1.5 times as wide as stock. Anyway do that, get the 4x4 kit, and get an old spin brush tooth brush and put the motor from that in it. They have more torque.

got a pickup x-mod today while i was,, uhhh "working".

got the 4x4 upgrade kit for it//once i run it for a while i will do the bigger tire/lift upgrade & also a motor/lower gear upgrade.
it takes 4 aaa bats to run it.no pack included..
i will post some pics when i get home from work!!
this this is small & has tons of little pieces to put together.
the dogbones & wheel cups look kinda flimsey//time will tell!

oh, & it will fit in my lunchbox too!!
might have to stop by the river at lunchtime next week.
