Does anyone have templates for the mantis chassis? I want to try and make a similar chassis out of titanium plates but, I need to know how much titanium to order and the hole placement would help tremendously. If it's not available Does someone have the chaotic switch?

Hmmm.. not so sure that's a good use of ti plate.. the chassis is torsion.. which means it has to twist.
I mean I don't know what you have planned, but my friend has a mantis an I have a mini mantis and a Bwd sss-r torsion chassis.. the plates twist in from the sides and buckle.. is ti goin to do that without bein way way too stiff?
Now a chaotic switch we be pretty Sweet! I run one of those.. a stiff chassis on that is a good route to go.. just my .02 on the torsion side of things..

If you look back at the history the OG that first created the Mantis......H3RESQ...........originally produced it out of aluminum. Then the design was handed over to Don at BWD and is now made out of Delrin. I would say there is a pretty good reason for that and I myself would never imagine running a Mantis chassis made out of anything more rigid. It's rigid enough already when it needs to be. The entire chassis has to be fluid and I feel if you stiffen up the main chassis plates, it will just hinder the performance. If it's strength that is the concern, I've had my twisted so bad at times I thought for sure it would snap in two like a twig, but it's still in one piece.

Yea, titanium wouldn't flex much unless it was pretty thin. I plan to do my own design I just want to look at template to see what kind of size I need to be working with.
