Hey new to crawlers but having fun with them. I'm not new to RC at all I'm a mod over at microtforum and have everything that's fast. Unfortunately you can only watch so many speed runs until you are bored so lately I've gotten into micro rc/crawlers. Made this over the last couple of weeks. I used two micro servos, I soldered resistors to the ones circuit to center it at all times to allow it to be continuous. the thing works great! Please ask any questions or tip me in on how to make it better, also there is solder wrapped around the rim to weight the wheel. Heres some pics and a video

It's 4x4 it's pretty amazing with what it can do. The servo motor/esc is crazy strong and can push a full size Yankee candle (at least 2 to 3 pounds) not bad for a 1/64th rc. hasn't anyone done this? or don't people usually make micro crawlers

this thing is very cool, I wasn't to interested in it originaly cause I thought it was 2wd, but 4x4, thats amazing, what did it start out as? i'd be interested in getting a hold of one.

Here's the specs

4 wheel drive
Mystery (god knows what brand) steering servo
Spektrum s-75 modified Continuous resistor centered servo/gearbox/motor
Custom chassis that instead of just articulating has tortion bars (thin lexan)
Weighted wheels
Wd-40 soaked tires for better grip
Mini lst rx (can be changed to 6 diff channels from a button)
Losi micro t battery

Note* I had another of the tiny blue servos for the throttle motor, but it had almost no power. The way th electronics work is instead of an esc I plug the battery directly into the rx, I then use it like a nitro setup and have the throttle channel run the modified servo

Any other spec questions just ask. Will also take any desired photos

Please understand this is supposed to be an ultra capable crawler. It's built seriously not like a toy. It started as a zip zap monster truck (sadly quite hard to find) and sadly not made anymore, I still have a stock one but don't want to cut it up. there are more of these crawlers around but I think mine is the best as I've figured what I don't like about the others and modified what I thought fit. I still plan on adding some sort of larger wheels for more clearance and also a smaller batter and more wheel weight. any ideas would be greatly approviated as I'm a noon to crawlers (but not to fabrication)

thats what I thought it originated from (from the title) but i've never seen a MT zipzap, so I was unsure and the car zipzaps I had had weird RWD gearbox's so I asumed this would use the same gearbox, I think its great, i'm defenatly going to keep my eyes open for one, but since they are discontinued it may take some time, i'd love to see some still pics of it in action next time you have it out, good work "thumbsup" any plans for a body at all ?

wow, climing over that pocket knife really put that in perspective, that thing is tiny, VERY cool. I love waht you have done with it, that chassis seems to be a good performer aswell, would be cool to see a body on that thing, although it might be hard to find one in that size.

This is rare, eBay has one at a reasonable price. If you want one I'd grab it

Thanks for the kind words. I was quite happy with it myself. Overal build quality is an A-minus. The only thing I would like to change is how long the wheelbase is, and maybe how tall the tires are

Sweet! I have a ZZMT if anyone wants it. Got like 4 sets of tires with it too and the Hummer Body. Not sure if it works anymore but for this project it could be a donor!

I may want another to build another crawler. how much would you want for it? pm me if you really wanna sell it
