Shhh, don't tell the wife, she thinks I got a raise. There's another pile just like it in my living room too. You'd be surprised how good of a deal you can get when you ask the sales rep, Hey what kind of smoking deal can you give me if I buy a dozen?

You know I think I remember reading that on the internet somewhere too, it's gotta be true than. Anyone know where I can get 2.5" solid Delrin rod?

Good call on the scoop Aaron, I agree that looks better. Flows alittle better with the smaller opening. Kick ass job

Well another weekend gone. Spent most of yesterday welding up the tabs and brackets for slowrockr's front links. Got them all tacked in today and also got the rear upper shock mounts done on my chassis and the fuel cell designed Do you think 22.5 Gallons will be enough?

Man you guys are just talented! Super clean work! It's a cool treat to be able to watch this step by step The hood is just nasty

For us guys out here that have no idea where you guys start when you start this kind of build can you show us picts of the rig when it was being layed out on the computer? Like from concept to where your at now?

How much of the build is planed and how much is "we will work it out" when we get to that stage of the build? And last question, counting hours all of you have worked so far what would the build cost be with parts? I would guess $100K counting labor?

Thanks Kenny

The plans started on a piece of paper and an ide of what I wanted the chassis to look like, From there is I put the motor trans t-case and axle housings on the chassis table, then start the chassis. The tabs and stuff were all designed when the time came that we new what we needed.

You would be right about the cost. It would be between 100-75K, The single seat we used to have had 50k in parts and 400 hours labor (24K). This one has allot more work in it the the single seat. Slowrockr's has 120 hours in it already, And that doesn't count the design time for the tabs and stuff.

Yea they will get boxed top and bottom and then the radiator mount will tie the two together left to right.

Another weekend gone and more progress made. Aaron was a welding machine this weekend. Got all the rear link tabs welded up, shock tabs welded, trialing arms are all tacked up and welded inside the plate boxing structure. I found some flanged bearings with a 3/4" inside hole so I whipped out a steering column and braced it up. I'm tired of having a slight slop in the steering wheel. Co-dog came down Saturday, finished mounting up his seat while I whipped out some corner gussets. She's gonna look mean with the double shock setup. No pics but I got the light bar all bent up and tacked together. Gonna look killer with 28 inches of HID on the roof.

Edit: The devil already took Aarons car for a test drive, spy video to be released soon.......I hope.

Sooo, how is Aarons rig coming along? Your is ok but I like the "english" versatility of Aarons, that is a great option....

Aaron, sorry about the link mount but that course was rough, I had no idea I couldn't clear the triple in front drive....

This rig is a work of art. How hard would it be to pull the motor/heads? I would love to get a top view shot.
