Default Messing with the Jeep

Put the tach and air pressure gauges in over the past couple of days.

Had to wrap it up tonight so I could take the kids out on the trails tomorrow.

Ran a T in each of the air lines for the lockers and installed gauges for front and rear.

The knob between the air pressure gauges is from the stock heater fan control.

The rest of the heater system was disassembled and tucked away. I only used what I needed to make the defroster function.

Is it like my Bronco Jason, where you have to reach under the dash to control the heat setting and vents? Gauges look nice and clean (You need to change your location, your not in Ga. any more!

No top so heat is all I use on this. No need to adjust it, just need to change fan speed. Everything I need is right there on the dash.

The only reason I kept the fan control there was so I could run the defroster to keep fog off the inside of the window.

Now to get rid of that horrible steering wheel.

I always wondered about that steering wheel! It just looked strange! Almost like it was Rhino Lined or something? Does it have a airbag in it? You going to throw a Grant on there?

The steering wheel either had the airbag removed or deployed and it got "rebuilt".

I guess a Grant would be fine. Don't need anything special.

I have a Grant that was in my Scrambler. Its not the greatest but it def looks better then the one you got no offense lol. Its currently mounted on a 78 CJ7 column. I switched over to an original wheel for the Scrambler. Been trying to sell it plus a bunch of other Jeep junk.

I think I'd need a La Cucaracha horn to go with that wheel, DJ.

Those steering wheels are great if you ever need to drive the jeep while wearing handcuffs!
