| Hole In The Rock Trail, Labor Day Weekend
Just thought i would share a few pics from my Labor Day Weekend. I meet up with the Red Rock 4-Wheelers in Moab for the 3 day, 2 night campout trail run. Had a blast! My first time running this trail, pretty easy trail, but great scenery. Just got the jeep out of the shop the day before I left: Streached the front axle 5" forward, new custom Deaver 2.5" springs. [IMG][/IMG] Had the hydraulic steering re-worked: Sat morning meet up: [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I took my small camp trailer to our campsite, about 1/3 the way in where we all camped two nights so my rig wouldn't be all weighted down. Same bolt pattern as the Jeep, 6 on 5 1/2 with 35" tires and pinnacle hitch. Could of easily ran the entire trial with this thing. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I can't believe how much better this thing rides and handles having that front axle moved forward 5". I was able to keep up with the coil rigs on the fast sections now. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] |

| Thanks, yeah good times for sure. Memorial Weekend, I'll be heading back down there. It would be sweet to get some CO guys together and all head down there to play. Get that jeep done. If you need help turning wrenches, let me know. |

Thanks for the comments. A couple more: Roy in this FJ... Got stuck in the sand, but I got to use my new 12,000 lb winch. He had a harder time than a stock jeep.. Had to put the strap on his rig a couple of times. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] The famous chute. Can't believe people took wagon's down this. [IMG][/IMG] |

Moab is just a great place to wheel. I was at ejs last year and hope to make it in 2012. Yes it is alittle crowded but i get to see so many old friends it just makes it worth it to me.
