This is my 1:1 Crawler... It is a 1987 K5 Blazer, has an '06 Chevy 6.0L/4L80E combo in it, 1 ton axles with 4:88s and ARBs, 4.3:1 Atlas, custom 4linked front end, 40" Trepadors and 42" Swampers, custom cage and doors, lots of rock rash... and lots more... I truly drive this truck daily, though I don't have a commute to work. I have been wheeling this rig for years and keep seeing guys bringing scale crawlers on the trail and decided to get one... that was 12 rc trucks ago LOL. now I'm as addicted to the scale thing almost as much as the full size thing... I enjoy building and tinkering on them almost more than driving them (rc wise)... Matt |

I like your rig. It seems to be well thought out. You have axles that can handle the big tires and provide safe braking for it, the suspension is capable of good articulation, yet it isn't jacked up in the air like a mall crawler. I wish there were more rigs built like this instead of seeing the typical red neck POS trucks that seem to get too much attention. |

Awesome truck you've built there. You did an excellent job modernizing the drive-train and suspension while retaining the truck's original charm and character. Hats off to ya. Any idea what it weighs? |

Really nice K5 I've got 2 currently a 74 off road and a 75 frame off resto road queen. I've had a total of 12 in my life time. Nearly all my RC's are K5's. My wife says I have issues...i'm ok with that!

This link is a youtube video of me and my K5 several years ago when it was still a pretty lifted truck lol. It had 1tons under it on 35s. Enjoyhttps://youtu.be/zvi9rP_DcKs |
