We've got no major rocks in Michigan...no worries man. I say keep the Jeep smaller and agile for our narrow forest trails. I've been on a Michigan trail so tight unless you had a Mini-Truck or Sammie/Tracker you were too wide to go through.

If you don't want to break axles buy some Rockwells or just park it after you buy it. Even the AMC 20's never broke in the driveway. Point is, if you drive it and use it things will wear out/break eventually. I've been wondering myself to buy a Rubicon or an older TJ and some 44's or 9's. I guess it will all depend when the time comes if I have a place I can swap axles. Last edited by Thorsteenster; 10-03-2007 at 11:38 AM. |

I've had two CJs (CJ7 & a CJ ![]() My next Jeep might have 35s, but to me that's a lot of tire. For 33s or 35s, I plan to go with built Dana 44s. |

If your looking at OME suspensions, call Dirk @ DGPOffroad.com - #1 OME Dealer. He really knows his stuff about those kits. And listen to what Diggler said, he seems to know his stuff two. "Going Crazy" will only mean 2 things on a Jeep with 35-37" tires... broken stuff & more money to be spent.

First, yes, it would be a good idea to extend, at least, the front brake lines. Now, that said, YJ lines will fit a TJ and are about 3" longer than stock TJ. Track bars....when the jeep is lifted, even the smallest amount, the trackbars should be extended. The trackbar attaches at the frame and axle, when you separate the two, the trackbar, unless extended, will pull the axle to one side. I really think it would be a better route for you to buy a stock jeep and do the legwork yourself.

I cant find those on the website. Other than that, how does that list sound? btw, how do I know the width of wheels I need? Will those tires fit properly with a 2.5 inch lift and 1 inch body lift? Do I have any unnecessary items on that list? will I need stronger drive shafts? sorry for all the questions. |

nothing but trouble for me and others. Shipping only half an order and then when the refund is supposed to show up, you only get part of it back after shipping the stuff you did receive back.

I ordered some CJ heater cables and gas fill and vent hoses and a few other odds-n-ends of things about 5 years ago and got everything fine. They certainly deliver catalogs with no problems. |
