| LB's Isuzu pick up, the new beginning
Well I had a chance to pick this one up a few months back and it is one of the best custom builds I have seen, from the body work and details to the c channel chassis and custom axle link mounts. Looneybin did a great job on it. Unfortunately when it came to me, the mail man didnt care much for it and it came a bit busted up. All damage has been repaired. So I started to add a few details. I made some front light lenses out of lexan and some tail light lenses too. Let there be light I also swapped out the front RC4WD scale shocks for these, which look a bit funky with the purple springs, but work so much better. Pics from the first time I wheeled it. The custom wheel broke loose!!! But made for some funny wheeling! Here is how it sits now. I painted up the interior and added some details like a steering wheel and such. More to come... Here is the original build thread. Great stuff!!! 1991 Isuzu Pick-up |

That thing looks like a lot of the huntin' trucks around here. I really like the duct tape holding in one of the tail lights, Priceless! |

Man that is by far the most realistic scaler I've seen in a long time.I've probably had 5 or 6 of those trucks first scale and I love 'em.I might have to get ahold of one of those amigo bodies and replicate one of my old rides.Awesome rig bro! |

Thanks but I can not take credit for the build. I just fixed the damage from delivery and added some details. Build was done by one of the best. Looneybin

I have ALWAYS loved this truck..! Sweet grab when it was up for sale.. It sucks that it got busted up in the mail, but at least you were able to repair it..! Awesome wheelin' pics as well. |

As far as this truck goes I plan on making some sliders to protect the body (which looneybin did a great job making), adding a driver and finishing up the interior and some small odds n ends but no major overhaul or anything as it came to me just as I wanted it!

A few weeks back Bob tossed this up for sale. l have always wanted it but never seem to have the cash. Bob worked a deal for me and sold it to me for an affordable deal and asked me to build his 4Runner for him. I gladly agreed and its now part of the permanent collection of mine (I almost never sell one offs). This truck really didnt need anything, LB did such a great job on it to begin with. All I have done is add some kickass RC4WD 1.5s and CTC scale hubs and some flat black. Small details is what makes this rig stand out Crushed fender and rear quater Duct taped tail light and it flexes its out like whoa! |

Holy crap how did you end up with it LOL. i really appreciate the comments guys. a lot of time a effort went into this little project and it was by far the most entertaining build i have done. the dents and character are what make it fun. i hated to sell it but i am a basher and i would have destroyed it. glad its been and going to good hands. ya know the rust on the fenders and all acutally has metal shavings in it to make the rust feel like rust...............now if i only hade the time to build another truck:-( |
