Default Project Black Sheep

Well I had a New Bright 2nd Gen Dodge Body. But it had a lot of cracks and problems such as a missing pillar, headlight lense, chuck missing out of a fender. all fixable but would have taken a while. So I remembered I had this........

Mercedes Benz Mclaren SLR. Wheel base is pretty much the same as the stock SCX-10. only problems is that the wheel wheels are way too small for my 1.9 Flat Irons, So I will probably have to get some 1.5s. Sorry for a lack of real progress, I've been trying to fab some new shock hoops, but my lack of any welding experience, and possibly the wrong equipment is making that difficult.

Would that be a negative smiley or a positive smiley?

Examined the wheel well some more , starting to look like i'm going to have to open them up a little more no matter what I do.

stock slr wheels/tires, wanting to say it's a 2 inch tire, need to measure to make sure.

Stock SCX wheels with Flat Irons. too big for the hole (obviously), Probably going to use Dirt Grabbers, which might fit in the whole snuggly in the back, but probably won't have any room for steering in the front.

Noticed when I first had the idea to use this body that the wheels that were on the RC car it came off of were 1.9s, so if I just hacked up the body to accomodate bigger tires, I could some how use these wheels, not very rugged looking, but different. Probably not going to because there isn't much fender above the wheel wheels, and I think a dove nosed SLR tuber would be a bit too extreme for my taste.
