Default project snow and ice 1.5 yota

well building 1.55 hilux now.

specs:

nip hilux
dinky V2 camper shell
dinky full interior
dinky steering wheel
tlt axles
RC4WD 1.55 steelies/maybe landies
RC4WD 1.9 rock crushers(waiting in mail)to cut down
RC4WD scale black shocks
scale hubs(still looking some)
OG bruiser chassis(waiting on it in mail)
leafs on all 4's
tq3 rx/tx with 3rd channel mod for winch
3 racing winch
27t axial(changed that).bump a stock axial motor going with 35t RC4WD motor
lots of scale items
peedy tranny 84/15 tooth(that will probably change)
led's
MG 645 steering servo
traxxas xl5 waterproof esc
3800 TENERGY NiMH

and sure more stuff.

and pics of parts so far.

ok a little update.just ordered the V2 camper shell,interior and steering wheel combo kit from dinky.







cant wait(but will have too)get this stuff.

i think your gonna need some bigger meats, how about 2.2 crushers converted to 1.55, they would be heaps fat and look sick, anyway good luck with the build

agreed. for the ballooned look. id go with some cut down 1.9s. or even 2.2?

nice! i really like the look of the snow/ice trucks. what wheels are you using? will they be widened?

yeah i am going to use bigger tires and cut them down to 1.5.and thanks.

mistake on the rock crushers,they are 1.9.so they will be cut down to 1.5.

yeah they do look good.was going to use the landies,but i will have to wait and get some more $ in paypal so that i can get some 12mm hexes for them.so i will run the black 1.5 steelies i have for now.

well did get some paint on it today.and dont know if i will bob the bed or not.went with 3 coats silver and 5 coats clear.sure wish i had some directions on how this thing goes together.half of the stuff i dont even know what it is.

anyway a few pics of it so far.

silver laid down.







black around windshield,windows,and door handles.and clear coats.it shines now.







now if paint will dry i will try to get the body together.

well out of all these nip parts.found the morrors,mirror mounts,just cant find the swivel/curved part for them.does anyone know if they come on the parts tree with mirrors?

here is a pic of another truck i found and i guess you can see what part i am talking about.it is the curved part between the mount on door and the mirror itself.

well a little more done today on this thing.got body bolted together,wheels and tires mounted on axles,grill,bumper,light lenses,windows installed.anyway i did have a little help with it.
