Default Favorite Shifting Servo

I'm new to scale and thinking seriously about a TF2. So, I'm curious about the "2 speed" servo. What is the favored size, strength, brand etc. for this application. Certainly it need not be digital or should it?

im using a traxxas 2056 and it seems to work pretty good. A few guys are using the micro size servos because the tranny shifts really smooth. Hope this helps!

I've got a couple little Bluebirds laying around and was hoping they would work.

Stupid me. I just realized there's a Trail Finder 2 forum. If a mod would move this for me I would be appreciative.

I'm using a $12.00 servo I bought at Hobyytown USA. Once I got the CH3 endpoints worked out (new radio) it works fine. For your info, RC4WD now sells a replacement piece for the shift linkage. It's the part that the rod end comes in contact with. I'd post the part # but I can't find the old package.

Here you go Z50675 I highly recommend it.

I have a build (that's been on my bench for a year) that I am using an R2D2 trans to drive a PTO winch and Transfer case.
I have the mounts done to use a Hitec Micro HS-5085MG. Has about 60oz at 6v. Maybe by fall I'll see if it works on the trail or not. Does work pretty well on the bench.
