Default TF2 to 4Door build

i preordered the tf2 kit long ago and built it up as the kit for a long time

as much as i liked it i always wanted a 4 door so i picked up some cabs and got cutting

i then cut the tf2 frame and made it a little longer

i cut the hood open so i could get to everything without removing the body and some filler and alot of sanding later i have this

its gonna have a full interior

im still working on interior and its getting some paint real soon and some detail work to the body also
the body work isnt perfect but its good enough for me should look pretty good when done im painting it a dark gray or something like that

build list is
tf2 chassic
rc4wd xvds
1.55 rock stompers with lead weights up front
homles esc
homles 35t motor
old 635 servo
i took out the 2speed and put a axial tranny up front
mip shafts

more to come

Love these four doors. Excited to see what you do with your interior.

Nice job!! I really dig the 4-door conversion. Approx. how much did you extend the frame out of curiosity?

Thanks for the kind words guys
I don't remember how much but it's about a inch to inch an half

Hope u don't mind Guy but I used your bucket seat idea and I did some detailing to the dash
It's not as good some others on here but it's nice I think

nice work on the body splice... looks good
Congratulations on your success !

what's the wheel base measurement of that body now ?

I have a Mojave body as well...
but need to stretch that to fit a 12.3" wheel base

Was going to alter the bed's wheel wells...
But really like the 4 door look.

Think I only have about 3/4" to play with tho'
Extending the cab by adding a 4th door would probably be too much
in my case.

Not really, cuase you loose the whole front of the bed in front of the wheels

the wheelbase is 12 1/2

the cab mounts with the stock front holes in the door just like the stock tf2 cab then i moved the back to post to some holes that was alrdy in the frame it lined up perfect
hard to believe but i just eye balled the cab and bed i cut and what looked right to me was where i glued

thanks for the kind words guys
