RC4WD reworked the axles so that the stock diff now fits as per my original CAD. Got some more done:





Flipped my battery holder cos the diff housing was touching the battery box when the suspension was compressed. I had foreseen this as a potential problem so designed the brackets to work both ways:

Great build! Now about those shocks,Kyosho. What kit are they from ,how long are they in comparison to the
TLT shocks? Can you still purchase them new? thanks in advance , And keep up the good work!!!!

The dampers are vintage Kyosho Turbo Scorpion rear dampers. I got them from Jason on ebay a while ago. They are 65mm long and work a lot better than TLT dampers. Cline Hobbies on ebay sells repros of these.

I just got some of these and they are shorter than the Kyosho ones and the shaft has 2.5mm thread not M3. So not really usable for this type of build. Fine for buggy restorations though.
